Hard going carp fishing with my old man and his mate at Wintons Fishery in Burgess Hill. We are on Mallard lake with huge carp and huge catfish - but with the temperature reaching 15 degrees during the day and only 5 degrees during the night, fishing is difficult to say the least. I take a 1hr 30mins drive to fish with Jack and Josh from TotalCarping at Thorpe Lea Fishery. I was really looking forward to this venue - shame there was no fish caught :-(
