Actually getting out next week to do some fishing, only been once this year at that was for the BOTLN Wadmill match. My season starts here.:D

Booked 48 hours on Little Hayes. I know its not the most difficult of waters but looking for a few hints and tips on best swims and approaches as never fished the lake before. Is there any weed at all? Not looking to do anything other than have a few bends in the rod and leave with a smile.

Okay, so Friday evening I decided to pack up the car and head to Todber for a quick 20 hour session. Picked Little Hayes as I've only ever fished it the once and didn't really get anything over 13lbs.

Only had one solid run at 11pm which produced a 20lbs 6oz Mirror, a PB and my first 20! I was made up!

We fished Little Hayes Specimen Lake at Todber Manor Fisheries for Episode 32. The lakes opens to the public in June.
