Hopefully you've watched our latest vid:)
It's had a fair few negative comments, and debate in the comments section of the vid. Mainly down to
the way the fish were put back.
I just wondered what people thought about the vid on here? We know that Todber's famous for the
fantastic condition of their fish, and invest heavily every year into their specimen lakes
stockings. We thought they dealt with the fish in the best possible way, considering time is always
of the essence when netting a large volume of mixed fish, in a very experienced and skillful netting
:)
What Todber say:
Just a quick message for anybody that watched the video that had concerns regarding the fish
handling. The fish need to be removed from the net as quickly as possible to avoid stress. We cannot
take too much time with each fish as this would have resulted in us having dead silver fish and Pike
in the net! The Carp and Cats are very hardy but the lack of oxygen in the net due to the mud and...

The Three Lakes
The lakes are beautifully landscaped, safe and well thought out, incorporating bays, controlled weed
beds, rushes and islands. The swims are large, safe and comfortable for night fishing.
There are two well stocked specimen lakes containing many superb specimen carp, up to 35lb, the
larger of the two specimen lakes - Lake 2, also contains an abundance of catfish, some over 50lb
together with specimen carp. Both of these lakes have well kept natural grassy banks with lovely
views of the surrounding countryside, a truly magical place to spend the day fishing.
The Mixed Lake 3 holds a wide variety of fish with masses of small carp (common and mirror) up to
about 8lbs, tench, roach, rudd, bream, crucians and really good perch, some to 4lb.
This lake is ideal for pole, whip and waggler fishing. Anglers have had huge bags of fish in one
prolific session.
Facilities include safe landscaped surroundings, hard standing car park (for cars and vans but not...

As you can see, a pretty dissapointing session at the usually prolific Wadmill lake. The night was
absolutely freezing, but it was nice to get back out there anyway.
