Rookley Country Park has two mature, well-stocked coarse fishing lakes that are ideal for a relaxing angling holiday on the Isle of Wight. So why not pack your rods and tackle and while away a lazy day by the lakeside?

Our small lake, of around one acre, is a general coarse fishing lake containing a variety of species including Roach, Rudd, Perch, Golden Tench, Mirror, Common and Crucian Carp. This lake is ideal for pleasure anglers and beginners keen to beat the record of 21lb 8oz!

The specimen lake is around two acres and is aimed towards the more serious Carp angler. This lake contains Mirror and Common Carp to over 30lbs, plus plenty of Roach, Rudd and Perch. The current lake record is 40lb 2oz and there are around 120 fish over 20lb. This lake would be classed as moderate to difficult, but hit it right and you could beat the record!
