Well lads,
Alas no carp from the big pit, thursday to sunday with out a bleep! And not just me either, all the
regulars come out for the last weekend as in the past it's thrown up a few last minute lumps (see uk
pb pic).
With the fishing being so slow the social scene was in full swing, at one point i think i had around
11or 12 people in my swim all huddle around the BBQ drinking beer and having a good old catch
up.
I did however salvage the weekend with a bit of barbel fishing in the river at the bottom of my
garden, 5 barbel in 2 hours with 2 going over 10lb.
So thats it the big rods and reels will be cleaned and stowed away in the loft until June the 15th,
as will the river rods.
Lucky for me my club has one small lake, and the season runs from march the 15th to december the
14th, it's stacked full of doubles and twenty's that haven't seem a bait for the last three months,
so going to give that a go in a couple of weeks.
