I'm looking for some advice on what to take for my first big fishing trip, this time next week I
will be half way through my first day of a 3 day session at Todber Manor in Dorchester.
After having only completed one 24hr session before I'm very new to this and don't want to be
without anything!
I have two 12' JRC Defender Rods with Okuma Proforce 165 Big Pit Reels.
I've also got bank sticks and Fox Micron Bite Alarms.
Can anyone recommend some decent length line? I bought some 12lb 100m line but it doesn't touch the
sides...
I'll be fishing Little Hayes aiming for Carp weighing 20lb+ with this in mind, what sort of
weights/hooks would be best?
I don't need to worry about landing nets, slings, mats and scales as I'm going with a friend who has
these.
Lastly, what sort of essentials will I need that are easy to forget? I've bought a cooker, and
cooking stuff. I've got a chair, a headtorch, sleeping bag, and warm clothes etc. What sort of...
