What I've been busy with this past month! - Blackstone Carp month!, past, this, with, busy, been, I\ve, What,
Well there is something I've been wanting to do for quite some time and I've finally got round to getting it all sorted.

I grew up with dogs, love em and miss having one around. Obviously in the military I didn't have one because of moving and time constraints. Infantry does not leave you a lot of time at your house...then I moved to a no pet apartment for quite some time and when we switched apartments the other year Liz had her Cats so I kinda left the thought on the back burner...However Hank has recently been fishing with us and bringing his dog out so the urge has been re-ignited if you will.

Anyway to make a long story short, I worked hard with my Landlord, who has been shafted in the past with irresponsible tenants and dogs, to get permission to own a dog. Then of course to find a dog etc..

Well one month ago we adopted Trina. She is a beautiful 2 year old Blue nosed American Pitbull. She was housebroken but not much else so the past month has been some serious work to get her to walk on...
Fishing this weekend - ideas? - Jay BOTLN ideas, weekend, this, Fishing,
Hi Guys,

I am most likely going out this weekend for a session on my own, as well as Chris and I fishing together for Episode 64.

It would be good to feature and revisit an old lake we have done or even a new one altogether.

If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. I'm really looking for a fun day, not worried too much about size - just after a few beeps :-)

Cheers,

Jay
How would you fish this situation? - SlippedDisco situation, this, fish, would,
Right guys, i've got a little situation to ponder.

im going to a new lake this weekend and i cant find any info on the web on it.
Just wanted your advice about starting on anew lake.

it's 4 acres with 350 carp between 8-36lb. i've heard they come up in the water with any sign of sunshine, so i'm gonna kick off fishing 2 zig rigs at different heights in the water. On my third rod i'm gonna fish on the bottom with a boilie and pva bag, with several free offerings scattered in the area.

So does this sound a good way to hit an unfamiliar water to you? what would you do?

cheers.

Last year after purchasing some great boilies and bag mix from Colin at KatchKarp, this video appeared on youtube...
Worth watching for the chip shop scene near the end.
